“Christmas in July” is a fun tradition that started in the Southern Hemisphere where Christmas falls during their summer. People there wanted to experience some holiday cheer during their winter, so they created a mid-year Christmas celebration in July. It’s also been popularized by sales promotions and media portrayals, making it a lighthearted way to enjoy the holiday spirit during the summer months or extend the Christmas joy beyond December!

What We’ve Been Up To

We were approached by Moving Parts Tractor Spares and created a 2D animated advert, to be used on their DSTV digital platform. We also assisted with script writing, story boarding, the voiceover and sound design.

Our client was so impressed with our work that they recommended Pyro Media as the go-to animation studio for advertising and we were happy to get some media coverage through the DSTV Digital platform.
