The Brief

KGB Holdings (Pty) Ltd trusted us to assist them with a Marketing video for their company. Once we received the brief which included animating a 3d rendering of architectural drawings, using it to target Blue-chip companies, we got to work. The project was part of a roll-out program countrywide. After meetings with the Engineers, technical teams and Quantity Surveyors, we completed the project, which included a professional voice over. Initially, we were tasked only with this video, but KGB Holdings were so impressed that they brought us on board to continue working on more projects. The second project was to animate a PowerPoint presentation, followed by assisting in an online marketing strategy which involved creating a new website and optimizing videos for their social media. Last and definitely not least, we were tasked to create a punchy, dynamic Radio advert.

Challenges / Solutions
  • Aside from creating a 3D video for our client, we also got involved with rebranding their logo and signage. We worked alongside an outside party for this part.
  • Because this particular project was architectural in nature, there were numerous revisions, adjustments and changes to the building plans, which we had to coordinate with the video.

  • Our client was so impressed with our work that they asked us to carry out two more projects for them; a presentation and a punchy, dynamic radio advertisement.
  • We learned a lot about architectural design, the planning that goes into it and we got to meet with a great variety of professionals who are integral parts of such large architectural projects.
